The countdown to the Korea Republic hosting its inaugural ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals has reached just 100 days. In commemoration of this milestone, the Organizing Committee (Co-Presidents Ryu Seung-min and Park Heong-joon) orchestrated the ‘100 Days to Go' event on 8 November at Busan Lotte Hotel’s Crystal Ballroom. This event served as a pivotal moment, setting the stage for the successful hosting of the championships.

The event commenced with an opening ceremony that introduced the official emblem of the competition, featuring the logo of the presenting partner, BNK Busan Bank. Against the backdrop of a grand performance by big drums, an LED light show unfolded, presenting each element of the emblem sequentially, each with its meaning, before merging them into a unified whole. The emblem, reminiscent of Busan's iconic Gwangan Bridge, encapsulates the spirit of harmony and sportsmanship by depicting two players shaking hands. It incorporates shapes resembling a racket, a ball, and the silhouette of a trophy, culminating with the heart-pounding sound of drums, building anticipation for the upcoming ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals, just 100 days away.
