The official title of ITTF World Team Championships Finals which takes place in the beautiful city of Busan in February 2024 is confirmed. The event’s official title will be ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024 Presented by BNK Busan Bank.
The Local Organizing Committee (Co-Presidents, Ryu Seung-min and Park Heongjoon, LOC) finalized and signed their Brand Partnership Contract with BNK Busan Bank (President and CEO, Bang Seong Bin) on 18th October 2023. According to the contract, BNK Busan Bank will work as the presenting partner from the signed date until 25th March 2024, a month after the final competition day.
As a sponsor, BNK Busan Bank will provide financial support for Busan 2024 alongside its financial services to the event’s spectators and the LOC while the exclusive rights for bank services category marketing rights will be solely granted to BNK Busan Bank. Also the bank will have rights to use this event’s licensed mark as a presenting partner and the bank logo will appear on the official guides, various online and offline platforms, the main court floor, backdrops, large screens, etc.
With more than 1.1 billion table tennis worldwide fans, this event will be broadcasted in Asia including China and Europe and other major countries and the value of this promotional effects is anticipated higher than 402 million US dollars.
ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024 Presented by BNK Busan Bank will be a golden opportunity for BNK Busan Bank to raise the brand awareness and to strengthen its global recognition.
It is the first table tennis event that Korea stages a World Table Tennis Championships. Korea, one of the table tennis powerhouses, was not able to host the World Championships to this date. When the nation was awarded the event for 2020, it was cancelled due to Covid-19 pandemic.
As the first Table Tennis World Championships at home, Korean fans will enjoy this extraordinary event. To celebrate the launch of the event, the LOC plans to give another unique experience to its local fans, ITTF President Cup for Korean Masters. From the moment of announcing its official title, the LOC is moving forward to prepare a festival that all sports fans will be excited. Calling out for more sponsors is also the next step of the LOC. Only three months distant, the festival of ITTF Table Tennis World Championships has already started with a presenting partner, BNK Busan.
